Sustainability at Stact
Build More With Less — For Real.
At Stact, sustainability isn’t a checkbox or marketing claim. It’s our design principle. Every BubbleDeck slab we produce is engineered to reduce what doesn’t need to be built — less concrete, less steel, less waste — while delivering more :
more speed, more usable space, and more long-term value.
We believe the path to net-zero construction starts not at the finish line, but from the first drawing. And we’re here to prove that smarter structural engineering can reduce environmental impact at every step of the way.
How BubbleDeck Helps the Planet
Through real engineering innovation, BubbleDeck significantly reduces
the environmental footprint of construction projects:
massive cement savings
lighter structural loads
carbon per building
(less formwork, props, timber)
Embodied carbon comparison
By designing for greater material efficiency, BubbleDeck reduces the use of concrete,
rebar, and formwork—leading to lower carbon emissions.
Total Redecttion
On average, BubbleDeck
saves 21.5% of carbon footprint compared to conventional skeleton structures.
Greengineering
with BubbleDeck
Embodied Carbon Reduction
- Reduce carbon emissions from materials and construction processes (as opposed to operational energy).
- By replacing solid concrete in the slab’s center with recycled plastic balls, BubbleDeck uses up to 30% less concrete, which drastically reduces cement usage—a major source of embodied CO₂e.
Circular Economy
- Keep resources in use for as long as possible, extracting maximum value before recovering and regenerating materials.
- Uses recycled plastic balls (often from consumer waste) and allows for easy disassembly and reuse of slab components in renovation or demolition.
Material Efficiency
- Use fewer raw materials without compromising performance.
- The hollow-core structure enables less concrete and steel usage per square meter, especially by minimizing beams and reducing structural load paths.
Lightweight Construction
- Reduce overall weight of the structure to minimize foundation needs and material use.
- Lighter slabs reduce the size of foundations, column dimensions, and even seismic loads, lowering both environmental and economic costs.
Waste Minimization
- Reduce construction waste and temporary material use on-site.
- Semi-precast panels eliminate the need for full formwork, reduce props and scaffolding, and ensure precise factory production with minimal on-site trimming or cutting.
Design for Longevity and Flexibility
- Create buildings that last longer and adapt to change, reducing demolition and rebuilding needs.
- Flat soffit slabs (no beams) allow for open floor plans, making it easier to reconfigure space without structural interventions—important for adaptive reuse and future-proofing.
Our Green Pulse — More Than a Concept
We call it the Green Pulse: a rhythm of sustainability that flows through everything we do.
From engineering to installation, we embed sustainability in every phase:
Engineering
Less material, smarter design
Production
Precast, precision-controlled, low waste
Site Work
Faster installs, minimal temporary materials
Operation
Flat slabs = better HVAC layouts, long-term energy savings
Lifecycle
Durable, adaptable, future-ready structures
Our Progress (So Far)
By designing for greater material efficiency, BubbleDeck reduces the use of concrete,
rebar, and formwork—leading to lower carbon emissions.
The Road Ahead
We don’t believe sustainability is a trend. It’s our responsibility.
At Stact, we engineer lighter, smarter buildings that help reduce the carbon
cost of construction — and invite everyone involved in the built environment to join us.
Let’s reduce what doesn’t need to be built. And build what truly matters.
