BubbleDeck removes non-structural concrete from the center of the slab using recycled plastic bubbles. However, it retains full structural performance for both loadbearing and anchoring purposes:
- Minimum 20 mm of concrete exists below the center of each bubble
- Moving just slightly away from the center, the concrete depth increases to 70 mm or more
