BubbleDeck slab design, detailing and layout
Production, coordination and site logistics support
Rojanawimon Pagoda is a meticulously designed architectural work created by a master architect to enshrine sacred relics of the Buddha. The structure reflects both spiritual intention and structural permanence, built to stand the test of time. Stact was entrusted to support this vision with an engineering solution that would respect the elegance of the design while addressing critical construction challenges. BubbleDeck was chosen as the core slab system — delivering a strong, durable structure with reduced foundation complexity and improved buildability.
Challenge :
The project is situated on a site with foundation constraints and complex soil conditions, which would traditionally require many ground beams and a heavy foundation system. Given the ceremonial and symbolic nature of the project, construction also needed to proceed with precision, reduced disruption, and long-term structural integrity in mind.
Solution :
Stact applied the BubbleDeck system to eliminate the need for traditional ground beams and simplify the substructure requirements. By reducing structural weight and distributing loads efficiently, the design team was able to remove the need for complicated foundation works — accelerating construction, minimizing excavation, and creating a strong, beamless slab system fit for a structure that must endure for generations. The result is a clean, efficient, and resilient base that honors both the sacred function and architectural sophistication.
